First of all I am going to apologise for the length of time between posts. There have been a number of health issues going on in the immediate family and so my focus has been elsewhere. So...sorry.
In the meantime however, I have bought some gorgeous stationery from Annette M Russell's nut and bee, in this case it's the "bring a plate" letter set which I found highly appropriate for this purpose. I do recommend going and checking the site out because although the prices are in US dollars, she is actually based in Auckland so you can easily purchase the products and they are quickly sent out. Her designs are quirky and just plain delicious as well.
So, the first hand written letter has been completed and is sitting on my bench waiting to be posted. I have also sent out a few more email requests today and will look at sending some follow up one's later this week.
I must confess to becoming re-energised after attending the Allergy NZ 30th birthday picnic bash. There is so much work to do with regards to allergies and raising awareness, but often without funding it is difficult to achieve these goals.
